Coca-Cola commercial meets Saving Private Ryan in this straight-up WEIRD ‘stay in school’ public service announcement from Perth-based production duo Henry Inglis and Aaron McCann, AKA Henry & Aaron.
With over nine million views (understandably), the PSA, Set Yourself Free, is questionable in its treatment of insights relating to dropping out of school. But the sick bastards at the Learn for Life Foundation in WA loved it, apparently.
Inglis had this to say about his strictly online creation:
“(The audience) are on the internet. They want to see cool things. They’re not watching TV. And you wouldn’t be able to get that kind of thing on TV at all.”
Spot on, Henry.
I wonder what would happen if these guys received a brief for an anti-bullying campaign
